KEVIN LOCKETTE, PT
Kevin has been practicing as a physical therapist in
the rehabilitation field since 1989. He was a recent
(2000) president of HAPTA (Hawaii Chapter of the
American Physical Therapy Association) and the
primary author of a medical text on rehabilitation, Conditioning
with Physical Disabilities, Human Kinetic Publishers 1994.
Kevin has extensive experience in acute rehabilitation and is the
founder of what is now the nation's largest wellness program for
individuals with physical disabilities at the renown
Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago. Kevin is a past head coach
for the United States Disable Sports Team (A member of the
U.S. Olympic Committee) and coached in International games
including the World Championships and the Paralympics in
Barcelona, Spain in 1992. Kevin is presently on the Clinical
Advisory Council for the Multiple Sclerosis Society-Hawaii.
Kevin enjoys canoe paddling and participates in the Moloka'i
Hoe every year. He is also an avid baseball fan and attends UH
sports whenever he can. Kevin is not only a physical therapist,
but also father of two, athlete, and non-fiction history buff. He
is musically inclined in the harmonica and guitar with a love for
the blues.
ALISON ALDCROFT, PT
Alison is a graduate of the University of Western
Ontario in 1991 with Honors. Alison began her
professional career at Parkwood Hospital in
London, Ontario and then moved to the United
States to work at the Doctors' Regional Medical Center in
Corpus Christi, Texas in 1998 where she was a Senior therapist
and Rehab Manager for 6 years.
She joined our team in May of
2004 bringing with her 14 years of experience with spinal cord
injury, neurological and orthopedic diagnoses. Alison is NDT
certified and has taken advanced courses involving neurological
issues. Her orthopedic interests are in McKenzie and Mulligan
concepts as well as MS imbalances.
Alison's many talents and interests include surfing, soccer,
basketball and Girl Scout activities with her daughter. She is
also the lead singer for a rock/blues band, The Blue Devils.
MARTIN deBUEGER, PT
Martin graduated from Curtin University of
Technology in Perth, Australia. He has 17 years of
orthopedic experience with a focus in a variety of
manual techniques including Maitland, Mulligan,
and McKenzie manual therapy approaches.
Personally, Martin is an avid wind surfer and enjoys music.
MICHELLE MONTEMAYOR, PT
Michelle graduated with a degree in social work from University of HI in 1991 and later graduated with a Masters Degree in Physical therapy from University of the Pacific in 1996. Michelle has extensive background and interest in orthopedic rehabilitation with an emphasis on the spine.
